Married Miss Nancy Calfee, Dau. of Mr. Evan Calfee of Coosa Co., as a young man, she died in 1890 and he married Miss Alice White in 1890, he was ordained a Deacon at Old Salem on the River. He helped to organize Samaria Church. He left 6 children.
