DuBose of Maplesville died suddenly at Maplesville, Oct. 2.  Francis Goodwin DuBose was born in Maplesville 9-27-1873.  He was the third Child of Franklin and Anna Goodwin DuBose.  He began to practice Medicine in Selma in 1893.  In 1911, he founded Vaughn Memorial Hospital in Selma.  Burial was at Maplesville Cemetery.  Survived by the Widow, Mrs. Aimee Nelson DuBose.
